This was inspired by a idea my friend Jody ( theJodster) seen at D.A.I.S.I.E Company this is my version I made for my grand-daughter to catch and save lighting bugs...her and brother both love to catch them and giggle as they squirm in thier hands..this way they can house them for short time and see them close up...they light up the whole inside of the canisiter...I used graphics from PCCrafter
Firefly House
1 plastic container, I used a 16 oz. cappuccino mix container
Scrap pieces of plastic screen
Sticker paper
Modge Podge
Tacky Glue
Sharp scissors or craft knife.
Graphics used: Bed Bugs 2 by Tammy Sherman
1). Cut opening in front and lid of container. Cut plastic screen to fit openings..with tacky glue into place. Let dry thoroughly
2.) Choose graphics and size to fit on all sides and around opening in the front.…cut out and apply to front, sides and back of container..I put this poem on the back side….Firefly, Firefly come tonight,
Show me some cheer and pure delight,
Please come fly within my site.

3.) Embellish with glitter and things as desired.

I love this idea!!! I know Danika will love catching bugs and putting them inside! Emma and Alex would love it...I'll have to look for a container and make them one.
