Pop Art....
I googled
and decided to make a nightie instead of a dress.. so it is a bit shear... Just like many things in the pop art culture
I added all kinds of
Pop Art Talents and cartoons
Thanks to my model..I hope you can see this is
shear nightie..
Had fun once again Angela.
Cannot wait till next months artist
I had no specific artist here
but celebrated many
and learnt alot about the
Pop Art Culture

Absolutamente perfeito!!!
Parabéns querida... Lindo!!!
I love this month's too and I like that you included Jessica Rabbit! :D
I'll take two of those please!! Love the faces you have incorporated into and the line - would be great as an evening dress too - we wore anything we wanted in the '60's!!
I looked twice at the pictures to figure out whether this was a real nightie or not!!
Oh it's fabulous DeeDee! Simply stunning! You've nailed it! Thanks so much for participating!
Angela
oooo DD u know i would totally wear that! it's very andy warhol-esque.
Dear DeeDee,
now I know my eyes are bad but this doesn't look like a nightie to moi...this looks like something they would wear in Hollywood or any where...awesome job...looks like it aught to be in a museum or one of those hard rock cafe things...you could retire if you made these for adults...
hugs my friend

This is a lovely creation - yes, you can tell it is a nightie! It's wonderful too and definite pop art influences with the bright coloring and the images that are the pop culture and the comics. Really great outfit!
This is fantastic dress. Just like Pop Art was. Well done!

Love the elegant design jusxtaposed with the popart fabric design- so quirky!
This is a great example of the transition from the clean lines of the sixties (in some circles) to the floral and ruffled lines of the 70's! You've created a fantastic piece that spans both decades... i love the assymetrical shape!
