Thursday Project

I have been back to the Merry Go Round Glass Shop for Thursdays Ladies Night Out. They actually have ladies night out, and a Make-N-Take class my friends and I have been attending. I love all the things I am learning and making, the fun with friends and Larry and Vicki just make it so enjoyable..this week we worked on a Whimsical Ornamnet....it was use your own imagination and let yourself have fun...boy did we...

I made mine two sided,,,

this wasn't the easiest class I have done...it was very hard to hold it to solder ....but as you can see I got thru it...the marbles were a bit of a challenge...my hair clipped up and concentrating and now I love  it...I need a new apron really....lol...anyone got a great pattern I can use for one.

if you live locally ...please check out Merry Go Round Glass Shop for a fun ladies night for you and your friends..they will have all the supplies and all the teaching to help you get thru your first project..trust me ..you will be hooked after one try.. and guess what..ladies nightout is only $25 for a fun evening and a great item to show for it...please do join us..

I would love to meet you in person...

Hi Dee Dee, yes, much travelling is always on the agenda when we are here for the summer. Take a few days in between before we hit the road again. The worst part is all the packing and unpacking and repacking, always living out of suitcases.

So sweet of Donna to make you that button magnet/broach. You are always having fun with new crafts. Ladies Night Out sounds like fun. Enjoy! Best wishes, Tammy

Dee Dee, I love this ornament. I do some stained glass as well. It is so much fun. I have a lid to a cookie tin with gravel for an aquarium in it. This makes a great place to solder uneven items, like the marbles. Looking forward to getting to know you through the swaps and reading your blog.
