A Quilt Reclaimed

I had a quilt given to me by a fellow crafter friend.. Nelda
I have been making a few projects here and there from it..
awhile back I did

Using the quilt
  then I also did

And now I have done a challenge for

I so love my little pillow pincushion..
I thought a bit outside the box ...
the directions said we could

Mine with the examples

how do you think I did?
She denied my entry
Said it wasn't in guidelines.
I seen pillow, she seen Throw pillow
I didn't need a throw pillow
So I made a small Pillow/ pin cushion
Mine turned out so cute using thier directions
Regaurdless... I love my little pin cushion
and will try again on a project soon
I get denied 4 out of 5  entires
But still keep trying

You can try too...

Happy Crafting

I think all the goodies you have made and given the quilt new life are great.... this pincushion is no exception

Your pin cushion pillow is lovely Dee Dee. If the tutorial didn't say what size the throw pillow should be, then I don't know why it matters. An accent pillow can be any size. You could use this as a pillow for display or a pincushion. Either way, it's adorable! Phooey on them. :) Tammy

I think your little pinkeep is adorable! If you follow the instructions exactly, everyone will have the same entry! You did good, girl, whether or not they accepted your entry.

Well I went to the link and had a look. No yours is not the same....IT IS SO MUCH CUTER!!! As a matter of fact I think you should sell them! I have a friend that I showed this pincushion to and she would like for you to make 7 for bridesmaid gifts!
