Blessed with Beauty

My eyes are so blessed with the beauty of some
special small flowers...
given to me for
Mother's Day
When my daughter was 5 years old....
She is gonna be 28 years old this year.
Every year it brings me blooms between
Mothers day and Fathers day.
I am late posting this.. as you can tell
but it is still blooming.

My 23 year old African Violet

It has some freinds added thru the years
But the original
Still remains in a pot of its own
With these small lovely blooms.

She lives in my bathroom and loves the atmosphere
In there and prospers
I have a Mothers day gift that
Keeps on giving
Thanks to my Girl

As you can tell I hold things close to my heart
This little plant has traveled everywhere I have lived
In the last 23 years
Over several states, in many different homes
She still survives, in my poor times
In my rich times, I still have her
A gift from my little girls heart

I am blessed with beauty indeed

Unbelievable - what a special and precious plant. You really must have a green thumb... the only plant living with me for so many years would have been a plastic one... ;O)

Have a great weekend!

That is something! I have never had a plant live that long! I didn't know they could. Oh goodness, I would be so nervous, don't ever let me plant sit!

I have some plants that were my grandmothers. It is so special to have things around with great memories attached to them. What a special plant you have there I hope it is around for a very long time.

Love your violet story. You must have a green thumb! Can't imagine keeping a plant alive that long.
