Ornament Swap

Over at Marshas Musings I got Brigit with BiWubaren on the Blog as my partner....I am so glad to get some one in Germany..I was stationed in Berlin, Germany many, many years ago and I know Christmas time over there is awesome and beautiful...I hope I can create something fun for her...

here is my idea....what do you think?

I used this to make it

find the directions with a small video HERE

Look at this glitter and shine

and they finished up like this

so I made another to go with it

and another version looked like this

I made my self a matching set along with one for my daughter..I hope my swap partner likes them..they had to make the trek all the way to Germany...pray they make it without breaking....

cannot wait to see my swap in return

No, your swap partner doesn't like them, she LOVES them (lol). They're absolutely gorgeous and will get a very special place in my X-mas tree. The sparkle is fantastic in reality, you can only guess that from the pics. I can simply recommend to your readers to try this, the result is fantastic - by the way, what do you make floor wax from in the U.S. - it's hardly to believe that you used this to glue the glitter... ;O) I often wonder where people get these ideas from, I mean... glue with floor wax...? But it works!
I hope you will like my swap as much as I love yours.

Hugs
Birgit

I just absolutely love these ornaments, DeeDee!!! I may have to give this a try although I suspect mine will not turn out as lovely as yours did!

I must have known that you two were meant to be partners!!

What a great idea! They turned out wonderfully. I love the "ho, ho, ho" one. I am in the swap as well, but am not happy with the way mine turned out. I either need to turn it around in the next couple of days or do something else quick. I'm running out of time!
