I bought a new house about 4 years ago and planted my trees right away to get some shade..As you know in a new home build there is no trees, that means no wildlife, so this country girl has been missin some wildlife....Today while in my yard I noticed in my tree that is now about 8 foot tall ,there is a dove in her nest..She has choosen my yard to call home.I noticed my strawberries had little nibbles on them..well I moved the pot by the tree so Momma doesn't have to go far for a treat to share her babies. I will plant me another..here in this pic is the momma on her nest..She is so cute and comfy..

I Finally Crafted Something.....
I crafted this from a idea I got at this site....Here...I just loved them when I seen them and had to try them out for my garden. So this is my version.... Please leave her some love for her creation while you are there... Anyone that knows me even a little knows I love to recycle things, so this was a perfect project just for me...I will make these to mark all my garden herb and veggies.
Vegetable/ Herb Markers
Alcohol Ink
Bead Wire- Silver or Gold
News Paper
Beads to match
Shrinky Dink
Small Hole Punch
Stack of some kind- Old Silver Ware, Bamboo Stakes, and Throat Lozenges
Graphics used: In a Country Garden by Beth Logan
1.) Lay newspaper out to cover table
2.) Use alcohol inks to color stake of your choice, let dry thoroughly
3.) Print graphics onto shrink plastic, cut out, Punch wholes in areas on top and bottom.
4.) Bake according to directions.
5.) With wire beads attach labels and beads in a decorative manner to secure to stakes.
6.) Secure into dirt for your veggies and herbs.
Will need to be sealed if used in the out doors.

I Will Be Crafting Today
Off to spend the afternoon with my local scrapbooking group. I found them thru meetup.com and I love every minute of it. If you are looking for some fun people in your area.. go to meetup.com, make a login and search for what ever interests you....I bet there are groups in your area too. I go to a glass working one, scrapbooking, and walking moms.....fun way to meet friends and get some of the stuff I want to do done. I hope to have a creation to show you when I come home....stay tuned..

I only planted my garden 3 days ago and already my lettuce and radish are popping thru the dirt...and my tomatoes have buds on them...
Lucky loves the little sidewalks and playing in the sprinkler from my frog's little belly.
watch for progress on this.

I joined a local scrapbook group that I go to often. We all share our tools and supplies. So I made these charms to mark most of my things since once you try some of the tools you just haft to have one for yourself so we all end up with lots of the same stuff.......And I am pretty new at bead work so this gave me some more practice...
