A Quilt Reclaimed

I had a quilt given to me by a fellow crafter friend.. Nelda

I have been making a few projects here and there from it..

awhile back I did

This Apron and Flower Pin

Using the quilt

  then I also did

these adorable needle keeps 

And now I have done a challenge for

Create with Me over at UCREATE...

I so love my little pillow pincushion..

I thought a bit outside the box ...

the directions said we could

how do you think I did?

She denied my entry

Said it wasn't in guidelines.

I seen pillow, she seen Throw pillow

I didn't need a throw pillow

So I made a small Pillow/ pin cushion

Mine turned out so cute using thier directions

Regaurdless... I love my little pin cushion

and will try again on a project soon

I get denied 4 out of 5  entires

But still keep trying

I made my little book to travel with it

Totally out of my color Zone

But I love it

And cannot wait to see it

All stitched up

I now await my first block

Coming to me from Canada

Bloggerette Match Book Swap #2

Well I couldn't go on with out showing you
  my box I sent to

I hope she likes it..

I wasn't sure what all to put in it

Or how to decorate it.

But here we go

She said she liked old things

So I went along those lines

And distressed everything

I put several small treasures inside

 I made a small card from a picture of a pattern front I had

I loved this and will be making more

I have made a new freind in Sue

I hope to stay in touch and maybe

Swap again so I can spoil her more than

She did me next time..

I think this is my most favorite from the box

Only becasue I love it!

And I have never seen anything done like this before

I will be using this idea totally

The never ending gift my new friend

Bestowed upon me

My mind is a whirl with the fun things

I can create with all these little lovelies
