Ok I have a good start on my Week 1 challenge from
and that is to get my ribbons organized...
I had a pretty good system...
but it takes alot of space and doesn't always work well...

but the solution they come up with I can see working to my advantage in more ways then one....
1.) Takes up less space
2.) I can easily see all my stash at a glance
3.) It looks good on the shelf when not in use.
How can you beat all that right....
Well here is my old system for my ribbons
Drawers for the rolls
As you can see I have it organized by color already
And my second drawer
This isn't all of it either!!! UGH!
Then I made this thing last year ...
It works great, although,
Not to pretty hanging all in a mess,
but you can see it,
I even made a beautiful topper to match my craft room
(sorry for the bad lighting in my craft room)
Then here is a new beginning for my ribbon stash
I cleaned off 22 rolls of ribbon...
and they all fit in this little space
can you believe that?
I did make my own dividers from
Cheerios boxes....lol..
I have so many of them
and they really worked great
put a small slit in the center where you start your ribbon.
feed the beginning thru
and it holds it nicely for you while you wrap it.
and keeps it in place once it is wrapped
So save those Cereal boxes ladies...
there is another use for them
I will continue to work on my ribbon since I like this system so much
on to next weeks
