Dresser Re-Do

        

     I have had this small dresser in my guest bathroom for atleast 5 years....sitting there waiting to be re-done...poor thing I say. Well finally it can show its new face proudly. I had a man named Pete approach me via email and he asked if I would like to feature his paint brushes.  I said sure I would, because they are great paint brushes...Well I didn't know that until I used them...and my hunch was correct. I have tried many different kinds with all my projects and usually end up with hairs stuck to my work...well not now. The Purdy brand shined thru.    On to my project, this is what she has looked like for years now...purchased at a thrift store some where. I liked it this way, but it needed to match my decor a bit better....

       so here we go with the fun new look that now shines in my guest bathroom..I love all the details...I left the handles like they are and they look great in the room this is displayed in

      so there ya go....I love her even more now...she holds all my hair accessories, curlers and perm rods..Thanks for the helping hand Pete

Awesome Guys and Steaks

    I have to tell you I work with some awesome guys.....I have been off work for 6 weeks now, which means my pay is lower, my bills getting behind etc.etc.....well I always joke about being poor and eattin Top Rame Noodles.....so this is what my Conductor friends sent me to help out...Thanks to my good friend Mike....

I recieved 4 different kind of steaks in this pack..the cooler will be used again, more info on that later...

         and it come with a cook book too....how fun is that.. I am from Sioux City, Iowa so I am used to midwest meat...that makes this a true treat for me here in Texas. I work with some awsome, hard working men from Colorado that are conductors and engineers on my railroad. I disptach Denver,Co to Lajunta, Co and back from Trinidad, Co to Denver, Co. I have many friends in Colorado thanks to my job. I try to go visit them when I can too.

    With that said I will have a lovely grilling season this summer...Thanks Guys...and thanks Mike... I love ya.

Hi Everyone !!!!

          I think I am finally back.....I had a minor surgery to my neck and lots of therapy so I think I can type again...I hope so anyway been off work and crafting for about 6 weeks now...cannot take it anymore....So please come back and join me as I begin my journey to get my daughters wedding stuff done and whatever other crafts cross my table....

        Hope you all had a fabulous easter as I did.....take a look..

     This is a necklace I made for my girl when she was about 5 years old..we lived in Berlin, Germany so my supplies were limited...it was so adorable back then...kinda antiquish now. I took it home for my daughter to see...Wondered if she would remember it. She did!...I was surprised. She said she loved it as a little girl and was so glad I kept it...so maybe next year it will get passed onto my grand-daughter...  I didn't get to do much crafting for Easter this year, but have many plans for next year.

       I will be posting some fun stuff again soon....

Rescue Bunnies

Wow! 100 followers.....

I have gone over the top of 100th followers...I couldn't imagine this.   I started this blog for a fun place with no dramas to post my crafts. Mostly so my friends could see what I am up to...And looky here I have made many new friends along the way... Thanks so much you guys...I look forward to hearing from each of you as you can...and love visiting your place too.
