Wedding Gift
My Friend Mel is getting married for her first time to another friend of mine named John. I am so happy for them both...They are both wine lovers so I made this basket as a gift..they are going away to a beach to get married so we are having a dinner to host thier wedding. I etched the glasses with a heart I love from the Wedding Cricut cartridge, then put thier intials on the reverse side using the Jasmine Cricut cartridge...then made two small chesse plates with the same heart to go with them , thru in a dripless pourer and wha la!...I am hoping, if I get time to make 2 small beaded cheese knives too...she only gave us short notice here...lol...I need to get the card made now too and maybe a small candle....then will wrap it all up pretty and be on my way...
P.S. Man is it hard to take good pictures of etched stuff...everytime is a challenge..

Firefly Houses
I made these for my grandkids to catch fireflys. Up north fireflies are in abundance. this should be a safe place for them to observe them and set them free...

Glue Bottle Holder
I am kinda weird in the fact that I like my glue to be ready to use when I need it. So I always store it somewhere upside down. In my craft bag, it is upside down, in my craft room, it is upside down, everywhere upside down..So I made this to match the rest of my craft room stuff, remember my recycled jars, so this will sit on my table and be the keeper of my upside down glue bottle.. I got this wood pencil holder a while back with a recipe box. I wanted to recipe box to mosaic for one of my girls kitchens. It turned out awesome, can be seen on my slide show at the bottom of my blog. The pencil holder on the other hand has sit in my garage for atleast 3 years...poor thing...Finally it is re-purposed to this beauty. I love it and will use it often now..it breathes a new life now.
