A Day Spent with My Daughter

Well this day is way different than the day spent with my grandbabies....there was no lunch, no playing in the park...we decided to get Tattoos!!!...I have been wanting to get one for some time now...so off we went...here I am all calm an collected just waiting for Tucker to start his work...then we laid the design on

isn't she beautiful...so we begin

...a angel with my granddaughters face, pink wings and a rosery holding the ribbons for lung cancer- mom, breast cancer- aunt and many friends and lastly one yellow ribbon for our soldiers....I bought this special shirt just for my tattoo...lol...see the stress on my face

it only hurts a little...she is almost done...for this time..I need to see how well that yellow is gonna look on my skin...so need to let it heal and add more if needed

isn't she beauitful...brown eyed little angel

then is was Danielle's turn..she is more experienced at this than I am ...her design a yellow ribbon with red, white and blue stars and a saying between her and Gabe, along with his name on the bottom

on to the fill
her design is almost done

the finished product

so this is a day spent with my daughter ...did you guess what we might do?
it was the best time I have had with each of these three and this will prally be a normal part of my visits from now on....time alone with each of them..

I will show an update when I get mine retouched...the yellow just doesn't look good...

and I want so many more now...lol..Oh my

A Day Spent with Devin

Devin and I started our day at the cemetary where my parents and brother and grandfather are...they have a beautiful pond there where you can feed the Swans and Ducks..Devin got to walk like a duck, talk like a duck and learn about ducks

this seemed to be a fun event for him...after this we were oft too Shopko for some clothes for him

and another chance to see my friend Alice....Devin was totally opposite of sister...he didn't like anything in the store until we found one special pair of shoes....then he was happy, so I run around and picked some things out for him....we still had tons of fun thou...then it was off to lunch for us at

only this McDonalds had a playland inside

he was so excited to meet Ronald McDonald and sit on his lap

friends right away

then we had something to eat..he is a good eatter and always a happy little guy

then we were off to play, only his is still a bit small to climb around in the playland without sisters help...so we decided to head home and bug mom and sister..

I loved spending the day with Devin...he is a special littleman to me...and I love that he is so cuddly..he has the bestest mooches ever

so tomorrow I get to spend the day with thier mom, my daughter...what shall we do...I think you will be shocked at what we chose to do together...

come back and see

A Day Spent with Danika

Danika wanted to go shopping for some school clothes so we headed to one of my favorite stores there...Shopko....my friend Alice also works here so I will get to see her too.

we had so much fun shopping..Danika filled the cart full of fun outfits and all the accessories...then Grandma broke the bad news....  we could only get two outfits, two shoes with socks and panites with tee shirts...the look on her face..WTH!   I know but she did get it down to the two outfits and two shoes...took awhile thou...lol

then we were off to lunch at

she is a McDonald's kid...she had a first with me today..she never, never eats hamburgers or cheese burgers...on this day she insisted she wanted a cheese burger and look see how much of it she actually ate..

can you say adorbale cheesy smile

well she went on to eat even more before we left...then she said she wanted a picture of me too so here is her take on me

the angle is what got me...to see me how she sees me.cute uh.

well we spent about 4 hours together just the two of us....then off to see momma and brother.
upon arriving home her mom asks," What did you do today" she replies with little legs crossed and talking with that one hand...you know how women do right...."We went shopping and then DID lunch"  she is so darned cute I just wanna keep mooching her all over..I am glad this trip I cose to do this with them..I dont' get to see them but twice a year so my time is important...this made it so special...wish I had thought to take better bloggin pictures to tell my story...but I was enjoying the moment...

Deployment Day - A Very Long Day

The day started early for us all....we stayed up late talking the night away...I have already cried once or twice.

But we all got dressed up in our USA garb my daughter made for us...decorated the car and got everything ready for the day...

and the back says..."Our Hero Gabe Riley"

me and the kids

and headed on out...Gabe sat in the back with the kids

one in each side

on to the ceremony..

the kids got bears to hold onto

She is supporting our flag, supporting her dad

then we got only 20 minutes to say our good byes...not long at all.

At first they stood as one

then we kinda got dispursed as everyone took a minute to step in to say good bye to the family, the parents that raised him to be the man that he is today

a moment with his daughter, words of wisedom

a big fat hug

one lone moment with his new wife

then we moved out to the stageing area, where the buses were to carry them all away...

Goodbye to his kids

Good bye to his wife

but wait I need one last kiss she says

please to all my blogland friends keep
Our hero Gabe Riley  in your prayers

as we walked away, in a moment my daugher, the Army wife walks alone with her children
she is strong, she is brave....she is going thru something I have never had to do...how do I help her, how do I guide her, how will she make it thru..

he loves his kids..
and they love him

please I pray he returns one day...to share his stories, his love , his future with my daughter and thier kids....and the rest of us..
God please take good care of him....we are counting on you...
