I made one of these for Miss Hannah when I went home last and my daughter said she'd like one for each of her kids...so being a good Grandma and really wanting to make them!!...I set out to get thier little personalities into a initial plaque
first off Miss Danika...my little princess with a little sassy added in
I have a crown charm I added after this picture hanging from the flower and bow
Then my little man Devin...his room is decorated Army Style ...he is a little soldier and lovey boy too
his will have a set of dog tags to hang off the one side..I already had sent those home..
not sure why but I love making things like this, so personal to each..maybe because with my name I could never get anything with it on there...

ReplyDeleteI hear you on never being able to find your name as a kid... Debra was the spelling wayyyyyy back then... My ex MIL bought me my very first mongrammed piece at 21 I was so excited... it was a little cup with Deborah on it and I still treasure it to this day.
